Lead by Example
Each morning when I would make my daughters their school lunches, in addition to writing their names I’d draw 3 stars; one for each of us. As a single parent, it was a subtle reminder that there were always the three of us; that they were never alone.
I felt that it was, and is, important to model and teach them things that would help influence and shape their lives in a positive and meaningful way.
As they say in the business world, “lead by example”. I also wanted to remind them that they should always “reach for the stars”.
When it came time to choose a name for the winery Three Stars was the perfect choice. Everyone should “reach for the stars” and that's exactly what wine making is all about for us; continually reaching for the stars, achieving new heights, always striving to make better handcrafted Napa wine than before.
